9th World Surfactant Congress and Business Convention!
The next CESIO Congress and Business Convention in its renewed format will convene in Barcelona from 10 to 12 June 2013 at the CCIB. This event is organised on behalf of the European Committee of Surfactants and their Organic Intermediates (CESIO), a sector group of CEFIC, the assocation of the European chemical industry.
Starting in 1984, this event has been organized every four years as a scientific congress. (»Posters of previous congresses) With our 8th Congress from 6 to 8 June 2011 in Vienna we have offered for the first time a new format, which combines a comprehensive scientific programme with extensive business convention facilities which have enabled all participants to do business effectively and efficiently. The great and positive acceptance of this relaunch indicates that the organizers have been very successful to identify and to promote a unique and very specific event for the surfactant value chain that meets the needs of the industry.
Thus, the 9th World Surfactant Congress and Business Convention will again offer a one-of-a-kind location to meet the relevant actors of the global surfactant industry, its
suppliers and customers and the service companies in just three days.
